5 Months Already?!

Where the heck has the time gone? How can I be 5 months pregnant already? Why are there so few photos of me being pregnant? Oh yes, I'm chasing around and photographing a very precocious 2 year old! So I'll get to it soon...my belly is starting to become very round. I'm uncomfortable already...ahh the next 4 months are going to be fun.

I have another doctor appt on Monday but it's just routine. But I keep forgetting to bring a list of questions. I forgot to tell them that I have tendonitis (I don't know if that's spelled correctly). I've had a cold that has been lingering for 2 weeks now...I'm feeling better but it's still not completely gone. What else? Oh yes, I am can feel the baby move now!

Molly has been talking to my belly and talks about her sister. It's very sweet. I hope she's as happy about it when the baby is actually here.

We are having a hard time with girl names. Any suggestions?

So anyway it's Friday night. Molly is asleep. Brian is playing his XBox. I am stuffing Christmas card envelopes and writing this. I look forward to an orderly (weekend) that will elimate the need for a violent bloodbath.

It's a.........GIRL!!! (70% sure)

Hi All! Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We had a nice time up in Cambria (LONG trip with a 2 year old but also very fun).

OK so I know you are all waiting for this....Well we went to the ultrasound appointment today. It took forever. Molly was not happy when I had to leave her with Daddy while the technician did all the measurements. The technican wasn't very friendly, informative or good with the freeze buttons! The baby was moving around quite a bit so the images weren't clear. Brian said, as a gamer with good hand eye coordination and precision, he could have pressed the button at the right moment to get a good one.

Oh well. As long as the baby is healthy. Although she didn't really say anything about that either - I am assuming that they would have brought in someone or my doctor would call if something was wrong. Anyway.... Molly and Brian did get to come in an see the baby after all the measurements were taken. Molly was more interested in the picture of trees on the walls.

Two girls are going to be fun. I loved having a sister and I know Molly will too (plus she gets to boss her around and dress her up like a doll). Clothes and the room situation will be easier too.

The technician did say that May 4 was a more accurate date and that the baby weighed about 7oz. So closer to the April birthdate like I was hoping. I love all my May birthdays (Brian, my sister, my mom, and half the MacDonald clan) but April sounds just perfect to me.

So names are going into negotiation. Yes, as always, Sandy Lee Roth is in the hat. But remember, this is our secret until the baby is born! Suggestions welcome.

Entry Number One

Well here we are. It's November 20, 2007. It's a gloomy afternoon. Molly is down for a nap and I am writing my first blog entry. When I was pregnant with Mol I kept an online pregnancy journal and with Baby #2, a blog - how very 2007 of me....oh that sounded very un-hip. "Hip" isn't very hip...oh well. Anywhoo. I'm 16 weeks pregnant. We will find out if the baby is a boy or girl next Tuesday! We didn't find out with Molly but we figured it was ok to find out this time.

So the photo is from Halloween (duh). Molly was a fairy. I just wore all white and had wings (a casual angel maybe). Trick-o-treating for the first time with Mol was fun. She got scared because Brian wore (or had on for about 5 minutes) a gorilla costume. She still talks about being scared! Anyway...I should keep Molly's site (http://www.mollyroth.com/) all about Molly and keep this blog dedicated to the pregnancy so little Baby Roth#2 doesn't feel jipped. I suppose I will have to buy a new domain when the baby is born.

So stats: I'm 16 weeks pregnant. Due date is May 10 (ha ha ha - LOVE it!) but I'll have a scheduled c-section a week or so earlier - so really we are looking at May 2 for a b-day but I'm going to push for April! OK stay tuned and ta ta for now.
